This breathtaking view is of the village of Mürren, Switzerland, looking down from the Allmendhubel Funicular.

Mürren is a traditional, car-free mountain village in the Bernese Oberland, perched on a high cliffside terrace above the stunning Lauterbrunnen Valley. The funicular railway connects the village of Mürren with the Allmendhubel, a small peak that offers panoramic views, hiking trails, a restaurant, and an adventure playground.

The journey on the funicular takes only about four minutes. From the top, and from the village itself, you can see the iconic peaks of the Bernese Alps, including the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The area is a popular destination for hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
